Well, I am someone who developed a love for genealogy after finding out the truth about my paternity. As such, I am a genealogy enthusiast who is also a Professor of Communication Studies. My doctoral research centered around creating an intersectionality between genealogy and communication studies by arguing that there is a genealogical aspect to interpersonal communication and identity formation.

Chicago born & bred. Husband, father, grandfather, genealogist, foodie. I have a love for genealogy, good food, REAL hip-hop, the Kansas City Chiefs, and good, intelligent conversation.
