Remembering Military Veterans in Fairview Cemetery

We should never get too busy or too distracted to remember those who have done so much for us. Thank you to all those who serve. In particular, thank you to all those forgotten under the brush in Fairview Cemetery on 300 Holman Street in Greenwood County, SC. We will continue the quest to restore what has been lost.

We have not uncovered all the forgotten heroes in Fairview Cemetery, but we have an update below of those we have found obituaries for in the Index-Journal. We will continue the work to find grave markers and use records to document those who may not have an existing marker.

Each of the twelve veterans can be found on Find A Grave. If you click on the link to their names below, it will take you to their memorial where you can learn more.
